See our Blue Check Mark Verification T-Shirt up top? That's our way of saying that we don't need anyone to verify us. We verify ourselves everyday and so do our customers every single time they make a purchase. We don't care what any social media platform has to say about us - we were validated the day OniTakai was created back in 2014.

Here's a little background info about us: We tried playing by the rules before. We really did. We tried being "good boys and girls." We made sure we crossed all our t's and dotted all our i's. Why? Because we wanted to "fit in." We were trying to get verified by a bunch of social media companies that we believed would help boost our brand and give us the recognition we felt we deserved. How did that go? An army of haters, thieves, jealous people and a bunch of butt-hurt Karens came out of nowhere and started coming at us for one reason or another. From Myspace to Facebook, to Instagram to Tumblr, from Tumblr to Pinterest, from Pinterest to TikTok and from TikTok to Snapchat. We soon found out that it doesn't really matter what we do, because the odds seem to always be stacked against us and people either love us or they hate us. People either support us or they go out of their way to get us banned off platforms for any and all reasons you can think of. So you know what we did? We decided to just disconnect from all social norms and give a big giant middle finger to the world. You just can't please everyone, so fuck it. Why bother? We don't even try to "fit in" anymore. We play by our own rules now and nobody else's. We are just gonna be ourselves and live our own lives to the fullest and that's that. That's what this brand is all about. That's what OniTakai has always been about - being yourself, no matter who or what that is. So if you vibe with us, great. If you don't, oh well. We're not gonna waste our time chasing anybody and we're not gonna waste our time bending over backwards for people who are clearly trying to take us for a ride. So you do you and live and let live. YOLO. (That's right, we just said YOLO, because we don't care about whatever lingo people are speaking nowadays. If you got a problem, go cry to your mom about it).
