We have increased our production capacity in response to the growing demand we are experiencing in the midst of this global pandemic. While we are still experiencing delays overall, our production time is now down to 5-7 business days. This means that we are able to process orders much faster than we have been in the past when this pandemic started. However, shipping delays may still occur due to lockdowns and other variables that are beyond our control, so keep that in mind when placing your order with us. If there are any more developments, we will post them right here on this page.

So, COVID-19 is very real and it continues to wreak havoc around the world. Despite what "some people" are saying, it's not slowing down and it continues to cause massive delays within the global economy, including retail. The entire retail industry, not just us, is experiencing massive delays and this is especially true when it comes to production and shipping. That's not a subject for debate, it's a fact. Even Amazon, the largest retail company in the world, is experiencing delays of up to a month, if not more.

What does that mean for a small company like us? It means that we are dealing with the same issues that big companies like Amazon are dealing with: supply chain disruptions and insanely large amounts of orders. Basically, it's Black Friday, except it's happening every single day with no end in sight. Yikes!

While we, the OniTakai, are working as fast as we can to get orders processed and shipped as quickly as possible, we are also making sure that we are not being stupid (or careless) and are following health guidelines rigorously as a result of this global pandemic. That means we are sanitizing our products and making sure our customers are not being compromised when they receive their orders. In addition, we are also partnering up with a number of fulfillment facilities to assist us with our orders volume as much as possible. While we've seen improvement in recent days in some categories, overall, we are still experiencing huge delays and we want to make sure we are properly setting expectations with every single customer that places an order with us.

While we appreciate your business, if you do decide to place an order with us, BE PREPARED FOR DELAYS! These days, it could take anywhere from 3 to 8 weeks before you actually receive your order. That is an insanely long time, we know, but it's better to be honest and upfront with you all than lying and setting false expectations. If you happen to get your order faster than expected, YAY! If not, at least you were warned ahead of time.
